The Meanings Of The Numbers In Numerology

There are many different aspects to a numerological chart. The two main
calculations for numerology are the Lifepath Number- derived from the birth
date- and the Destiny Number- derived from the full birth name. But there are
other readings and they all have one thing in common- the numbers that make
numerology what it is. The numbers 1 through 9 and the master numbers of 11 and
22 are the only ones used in numerology. And they have the same basic traits
behind them no matter what calculation is being done. Knowing the positive and
negative aspects of each number can make understanding a numerology chart a lot
easier.
The positive aspects of the number 1 include an adventurous spirit, leadership
abilities, independence, individualistic, strength of will, courage and
determination. It is the sign of goal oriented business leaders. The negative
traits of the number 1 include becoming dominating, impulsive, boastful,
egotistic, willful and too assertive.
The number 2 has the positive aspects of consideration, cooperation,
sensitivity, adaptability, mediation, sincerity, modesty and diplomacy. The
negative aspects to the number 2 include self consciousness, depression,
shyness, fear, timidity and inability to focus on details.
The number 3 carries the positive traits of self expression, imagination,
inspiration, artistic abilities, insight, optimism, happiness, enjoyment and
verbalization. The negative aspects of the number 3 include exaggeration,
moodiness, trouble finding direction, inability to finish projects and
selfishness.
The number 4 has the positive traits of morality, practicality, logic,
orientation towards details, achieving, organization, and management. The
negatives associated with the number 4 include stubbornness, argumentative,
overly serious, confusion, and locked onto details.
The positive traits for the number 5 include having visionary notions, expansive
and fast thinking, versatility, curiosity, resourcefulness and capable of
action. The negative aspects of the number 5 include restlessness,
dissatisfaction, hastiness, impatience, lack of application and an edgy manner
of behavior.
The number 6 has the positive traits of nurture, responsibility, communication,
sympathy, balance, humanitarianism, generosity, domesticity and helpfulness. The
negative aspects of the number 6 are stubbornness, dominant behavior, egotism,
outspokenness, obstinacy, and self righteousness.
The number 7 has the positive traits of analytical thought, research ability,
intelligence, invention, mediation, charm, introspection, perfectionism and
inner peace. The negatives of the number 7 include isolation, easily distracted,
suspicious, secretive, reservation and passive aggression.
The positive aspects of the number 8 include political abilities, authority,
power, achievement, judicial thinking and the ability to command. The negative
aspects of the number 8 are overworking, cutthroat ambition, carelessness with
financials, dominating those under them, impatience, stress and materialism.
The positive aspects of the number 9 are friendliness, congeniality,
humanitarianism, generosity, selflessness, and creative abilities. The negative
aspects of the number 9 include egotism, scattered thoughts, moodiness,
mismanagement of money, need for attention and possessiveness.
The master numbers of 11 and 22 are mostly characterized by the traits of the
number that they would be reduced to (2 and 4). But they serve to super charge
those characteristics. With the number 11, the aspects of 2 have more
spirituality behind them. With the number 22, the aspects of 4 will be bolstered
by the ability to succeed at any project, no matter how exceptional.
